Bob Celusak loses battle with cancer
We lost a tremendously talented musician and a very special friend. Bob Celusak, sax man for Captains of Leisure, lost his battle with cancer August 4. Possessing immense talent, he was engaging to listen to, and more fun to perform with. Bob always knew how to push the boundaries when it came to solos. Forever a Captain, he will be sorely missed. Bright moments indeed.

Classic rock with horns like Chicago, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Doors, Joe Cocker, Blues Bros., and Van Morrison? They got it! Smooth Soul like Al Green and Ray Charles? They got it! And these guys wouldn’t be a real Jersey band if they didn’t cover some home state talent like Springsteen or Southside Johnny & the Jukes, right? Fuggedaboudit, they got that too!
